Google once again accidentally gave us a glimpse of its upcoming flagship phone Pixel 8 Pro. Listed on the tech giant's official website, an image of the phone in porcelain colour appeared on the company's 'Google Subscriptions and Services' promo page.
It was first seen and shared by a user who goes by the handle 'android_settings' on X (formerly Twitter), with the image description saying 'A person makes a call on a Pixel 8 Pro phone in porcelain. Is.'
Although the device may look similar to the Pixel 7 Pro, a closer look reveals that the upcoming phone features a redesigned camera module, with all three lenses housed in a single pill.
The Pixel 8 Pro will reportedly ditch the curved screen in favour of a flat display and is said to be powered by Google's in-house developed Tensor G3 chipset.

Even though it carries the design language of the Pixel 7 Pro and a 120Hz 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen, Google is rumoured to bring significant improvements to the camera setup. The phone will also have a built-in thermometer that can measure the temperature of humans and objects using infrared.
The phone is rumoured to have a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary lens along with a 64MP ultrawide lens and a 48MP telephoto lens. It is speculated to come with 12GB of RAM and may be available in 128GB and 256GB variants.
The device will likely run on Android 14 out of the box and pack a 4,950mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Although Google has not yet revealed the official launch date, it is believed that the Pixel 8 Pro will be revealed in October this year.
